About your Speaker

Gregg Kerber

Pacific Northwest native Gregg Kerber’s love of photography goes back to his early 20s when a family friend and renowned landscape photographer introduced him to the art form. While studying engineering at Portland State University, he took photography classes as electives. He went on to earn his Masters degree in Structural Engineering leading to a 25-year career with Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Gregg has been a professional photographer since 2008 and founded Discover the Light Photography in 2011. In 2022 he co-founded Northwest Aperture - a consortium of three local photographers. Gregg leads landscape workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest and teaches in-person and online classes. Gregg has also been the organizer of the Portland/Vancouver Photography Meetup group since 2011.
