Families are the foundation of society, it’s where we life begins and love never ends. Creating family portraits is one of the most honorable and important responsibilities given to a photographer. When it comes to creating family portraits we are no longer just photographers, we are authors, writing biographies with photographs. Allison believes displaying family portraiture is essential to creating a strong home environment where our children feel loved in this great big world.
During her class, Allison will focus on the 5 important non-verbal tools when designing a successful family portrait.
Allison’s class will cover:
The importance of consciously creating your lifestyle brand
Making your client feel like a collaborator instead of a business transaction
Begin with the end in mind - Instilling the power of the print in your clients
How to get your clients to dress for a successful family portrait
The “how” and “why’s” behind her signature posing style
Why emotion and expression are priceless
Retouching and enhancing tips for every family
How to sell large wall portraits
Maximizing the sale without pressure
Loyalty marketing & the importance of keeping the clients you already have
Allison’s passion for family portraits began as a child because her own home did not have any family portraits displayed. Allison vowed when she grew up that her most valuable treasures, her own family, would be the foundation for decorating her home so they would never doubt how much they are loved. This passion is the driving force behind Allison’s business model.
