Forecasting isn’t just for large companies - it’s for small businesses too! Business forecasting is an important element of a successful business. It means looking at your past and present sales data and weighing that against marketplace trends to plan for a specific period.

 

Class Level:

  • All Levels Welcome

In this class, you’ll learn how to plan ahead and predict your company’s future financial performance. You’ll learn how to gauge how much revenue you’ll potentially earn in a particular period and plan for big expenses.

Students in this class will also receive Shonda’s forecasting spreadsheets in Excel or Numbers.

    About your Speaker

    Shonda Feather



    Shonda Feather is a photographic artist specializing in Newborn, Birth and Family portraiture. She operates Gray Feather Photography in Vancouver, Washington. In addition to operating her business full-time, Shonda is a world-renowned newborn and business photography educator and was invited by Ana Brandt to be an instructor at the online Belly Baby Summit in 2020 and 2021. She is already booked to teach at the live Belly Baby Summit in May 2022. Shonda has also mentored other local newborn photographers and mentored students in the Spring Mentorship Program through OPPA. She also continues to invest in her own education and improvement. 

    Shonda loves giving back and has done photography for various non-profits, including the Pacific Crest Trail Association, Mount St. Helen’s Institute, Humane Society of Southwest Washington and the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. She is also an active volunteer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep as a newborn bereavement photographer since 2019.

    In 2014, Shonda became a member of PPA and OPPA and is the current OPPA MarComm Director. 

    Prior to photography, Shonda worked both in corporate America and in non-profit.
