OREGON PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ASSOCIATION

providing professional development for serious photographers

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

OPPA Members,
At Oregon Professional Photographers Association, we are committed to your safety and the safety of our community at large. Based on the recommendations of the CDC, our board has made a decision to host some of our scheduled events online and to reschedule or cancel others due to the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19.

Here’s an overview of our current plan. Please note these plans may change as we navigate through this challenging situation.

    • 3/21/20 “Inside the Competition Workflow” workshop will be hosted online. Our Education Director will follow up with detailed information. You may contact him directly. education@oregonppa.org
    • 4/8/20 Quarterly Image Competition will be hosted online. Our Competition Director will follow up with details. You may contact her directly. competition@orregonppa.org
    • 4/15/20 “Think Like a Competition Judge” workshop will be rescheduled. Registration has been placed on hold, pending a new date. Registered participants will remain active. If a registrant is unable to attend the new date, they may request a refund. Refunds will only be issued if cancellation is received 10 days prior to the workshop, per our current policy.
    • 4/18/20 “Professional, Personal and Profitable Event Photography” workshop will be rescheduled. Registration has been placed on hold, pending a new date. Registered participants will remain active. If a registrant is unable to attend the new date, they may request a refund. Refunds will only be issued if cancellation is received 10 days prior to the workshop, per our current policy.
    • The Mentorship program and CPP Study Group will continue as planned. Participants may participate virtually and should use their own personal discretion regarding these meetings.
These are not easy decisions to make, as there are a lot of variables to consider. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this situation.
Please continue to take care of yourselves and share kindness towards one another. We will communicate with more information as soon as it's available.
Best regards,
Linda Keppinger
